... authentic Fiji down on the south of the mainland i was awoken at 1.30 in the morning by Sarah who said that she was convinced their was a mouse in the room. It also has a towering shear cliff faced mountain in the center of the island, and being on it gives a sense of isolation in the middle of the South Pacific - hence why it was the island used to film Castaway. ... What more could you want but relaxing by the pool, heading to the swim up bar to cool down with a beer or cocktail. And when you are feeling a bit peckish, head to one of the restaurants for a bite to eat. Need something to do, head down to the beach and grab some snorkelling gear or a kayak, and head out to the coral reef....perfect.

... kayaked back, this time it was not as easy. Vix was sure we were sinking. Water seemed to be coming in, and the kayak should not stay balanced. We kept laughing but also scared we would fall in, luckily we made it back without cap sizing. That evening we got into our countries teams. We had to get as many stones in the bucket as we could. Our team and Scotland were in the final. We nearly won, but a girl threw the 10pt stone by mistake and missed, so Scotland ended up winning. ...
