Finally, blue skies and no rain greeted us as we sailed into the harbor of Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii. In the 19th century, Lahaina was the whaling capital of the world. We tendered to the island and wandered down historic Front Street.

We enjoyed a visit to the famous Banyan tree. The tree, planted in 1873, is over 60 feet tall and has 12 subsidiary trunks to help the ...

I asked the slovenly dressed bag of filth who ran the unofficial 'Sugar Cane Train Refreshment Shack' when it opened and he simply replied, "Your guess is as good as mine." Really, Mr. Bag of Filth, is my guess as good as yours? You have a permanent shack next to the station, and while your handpainted "Cash Only" sign suggests you ...

      Three Turtles

... and came face to face with a turtle! We were both yelling through our snorkels. We were about 2 feet away. I think he got a little scared. I took the pic of the turtle and one of him. It was impossible to get them both together. He got a little tired and went in to rest. I went back to the same spot and there were now three turtles there feeding! I took some awesome video! We went ...
