I'm going to keep this brief and perhaps flesh it out tomorrow. I am bagged. We spent the morning on the beach doing the usual things and then transitioned to the pool. Here Mel received some unsolicited "helpful advice" from a woman about how we needed to be more careful putting sun lotion on our kids' faces. Set out at about 9AM, with basically the same clothes and equipment we took snorkeling yesterday. ... golf courses and all amenities. They all look completely sterile and bland but many of them cost over $1000 per room per night. apparently one of them ( the grand wailea resort) has a million dollars of artwork in its lobby.
Today (Thursday)at last the rain stopped, the low level cloud disappeared and we made it up to Haleakala national park to the volcanic crater. the best time to see it is at dawn but with the weather having been ...

... of hands reaching down to the rocks and forward crab walking towards the water. I sat there and watched Bree swim out until she was out of sight. My mind tends to wander towards the negative possibilities of snorkeling, so I sought mental refuge in Facebook and email. I love 'Merica. Beautiful scenery and Internet. I think I'm gonna like it here. Bree actually didn't snorkel all that long. The water was murky and it didn't feel safe to her. She ...
