... but with Asians. Sussed out the island today really on our drive, found some nice snorkelling beaches and found the chuckle brothers and divas hotel, found a total wipeout course which is a must for us to do! We said our goodbyes to mama sung and co and off we went. I could have stayed in Sapa for so ...

We found a local with a boat that would be willing to take us for 2,500baht, so after wading out and clambering on board we were soon riding the waves. We stopped at four snorkelling spots, the water was clear and there was lots of coral and tropical fish, Z had her underwater camera and we spent some time playing ...

... to Aow Leuk bay (said 'ow look'). It was amazing! Exactly what we were hoping for - a lovely white sandy beach (although a little on the stony side), a whole lagoon to swim in (so clear and jade blue), and lots of sunshine. As soon as we got there it started raining (just our luck)! Not deterred, Ross ran straight into the sea for a swim! Once the rain stopped, it cooled right down, which was so nice after the heat we'd had the day before. We ...
