... when dad brought me up to his height and showed him how small they were. We didn't have that long before the tour guide was calling boat 17 to come and hop on the boat. After bamboo island, we went to an island with a nice beach and a few toilets. Dad needed the toilet so we walked down the long path and to the toilets. We finally made it to Thailand via plane from Manila on April 16. Our first stop was Phuket. Phuket is a popular tourist area mainly for the beaches. Tons of beach areas and some just off the island by way of the longtail boats.

Then you throw in the endless breath taking karsts that skyrocket out of the sparkling seas, reaching up towards the heavens ... If my plans could allow for it, I would spend a week or more here but unfortunately two days was all my agenda could afford.

Its amazing to me, the amount of "where have you been/where ...

Waking up on the deck of the boat with amazing views all around, the smell of breakfast being cooked for us wafting by and not feeling hungover despite the decent night out the night before was certainly a very pleasant way to wake up. Tippy had cooked for us bacon and eggs with fruit salad which was amazing. The rather tough start to the day only continued really as we set sail shortly after breakfast and sat out on the deck, relaxing in the sun and enjoying the fantastic views ...
