So today is the completion of "Project Big Nose". Caroline text to confirm they were on track for arrival into Krabi & Stef was still completely unaware that we were all going to be there. We settled ourselves in, around the pool, awaiting their arrival. It took a while but they finally arrived into the reception, Stef looked directly at us across the pool but didn't recognise us at all, funny! Caroline made an excuse to come back down to find us. ...

We finally made it to Thailand via plane from Manila on April 16. Our first stop was Phuket. Phuket is a popular tourist area mainly for the beaches. Tons of beach areas and some just off the island by way of the longtail boats.

We opted to stay at a place close to Naithon beach because it was cheap and close to the aiport since we arrived late that night. ...

    Day 10

We woke up to our last day at the Grand Mercure, which as always began with breakfast. We packed our things, and Tiff went back to bed for some more sleep (not feeling too hot after our night last night). While I was sent to the mall to get more cash out for the rest of our time in Thailand.

The streets were crazy, it made yesterday look quiet. There were inflatable pools full of people dancing to techno music, there were twice as many people out ...
