The taxi to the airport this morning was a drama. We had booked a taxi last night for a 9AM pick up this morning but they gave our taxi to other guests and we watched them drive off at 8:50. Then their taxi came and it was twice the price of our taxi and it was just all a big kafuffle. Luckily Mum and Carolyn, being there usual selves, planned on getting us all there 5 hours before our flight so it was ...

... were hanging around the beach, it was again very picturesque, when a Thai man approached us. He was holding a baby monkey in a nappy, it was the cutest thing ever! He was offering for us to hold him for a picture for 100baht ($4) and Ruby jumped at the opportunity. Ruby has officially held a monkey! She wants one to take home now

It was one last stop before we headed back to port. We docked at Khai Nok Island. It was again chocker block full ...

... were off again to head back to the bay. Lucky for us the tide was on our side and even though we were tired we got back in time....just! We weren't long on the bay before we ran and jumped into the sea. In hindsight, kayaking during the afternoon was probably not the best decision we had made, however it was alot of fun. We decided we were going to watch a film at the Banana Bar so had to head back late afternoon for showers and to get there for 7 for the film to begin, ...

... It was so surreal playing with the monkeys, the guy who was driving the boat had a bottle of coke and the monkeys were all over him climbing on him trying to get the bottle of coke, was hilarious. I tried to give one a bottle and the wee ***** snatched it out of my hand. They started getting greedy though as more people showed up thinking they were gonna get more food so we left and headed back to our hotel. Thank god cause I couldn't take anymore sunshine or being on that boat. ...

... a snorkelling trip. Our first opportunity to snorkel was at Loh Samah Bay. There were three or four other boats already there. For a snorkelling trip, I surprised by how few people could swim. The group was predominantly Asians (five of us being Canadian, Australian and British). It was quite irritating really because when they got in the water they move about so much that they scare away most of the marine life as they're panicking despite wearing a buoyancy aid. Out of all 40 ...
