We got to the hotel and thought it was time to stop for a drink. The hotel was in fact 3 cottages, slept a maximum of 10 people and was run as a charity by Dutch people. They were there at the time and explained to us their charity. ... driver, legs bent at the most uncomfortable angle and set off for the nearly 3 hour hair raising journey. We had read about a quirky place to stay in Rantapao and were dropped off there. Unfortunately it was booked so Roger and I sat there having a beer while Lee and Michele went off looking for a place to stay. They found a nice place and we went by motorised cyclo to our nice accommodation.

Oh ! 3 nights in the same place,,heaven!!
