Howdy all. I'm sure ya'll will be glad to hear that my daily blog is coming to an end soon.....but not before I brag about what a perfect day we had today. None of us were happy to have our fun week at the Valle Cruces Overlook end, but we manned up and hopped in our cars at 6:30 am to head home (by way of detour). Eric and Tanna drove down to Georgia to visit his Uncle John. Kevin and I ...

Unfortunately no home football game on whilst there as wanted to see the renown Ohio State University Band. Saw them on TV and put on an amazing show.

For the first part of our trip, we took the back roads through Mt Pleasant, Donegal, and more. At Breezewood we got on to the turnpike for the rest of the ride.

First, the answer to last entries quiz is: horse drawn Amish wagons. The pavement depression is a rut from the horse hooves, the lighter lines on either side from the steel wheels. Quite common, including potholes from the horses. I have been passing through a lot of Amish county, including sharing the rails trails with them. They do not wish to have pictures taken of them or their places so ...
