Drove 155 miles in 6 hours.
After a sleep in we managed to catch the 12.30 pm ferry. It was a hot, sunny day so the 10 mile journey across Lake Champlain was an extremely pleasant way to spend an hour.

... something that was local and not a chain food place. Catalano's pizza was a small wooden building by the side of the road in a small town called Carroll. It served a huge, homemade pizza (they were stretching the pizzas in front of the customers) which was out of this world, plus an enormous plate of fries. We simply couldn't finish either! We started today with chats with our camp neighbors. They gave us some great info on roads to take and wished us well. Today we leave Vermont on our quest for Maine lobster.
The state is beautiful. The farms are sprawling and mixed with lots of lakes and rivers. I hope we continue to see more covered bridges.
