It was hard work getting up, but the bridal shower was at 9am, so toddled over to join the ladies and see the lovely gifts they had bought for the girl. More food and drinks!

Very glad to go back to the suite to chill out in peace and quiet.I'm afraid a room full of women talking and not terribly quietly, my head ached.

Nice island to walk around, a few restaurants and bars, but still quiet! Loved this one. Best place to stay- Bulon Marina Resort- basic, but charming and rustic! Great food ! 21. Took the train from San Diego to LA to spend the next few days with Beth and family.

... beach next to see if it would be worth spending a day there in the coming week. We went to the northern tip of Point Loma to Dog Beach, so no surprise there were loads of dogs there! Dog Beach was separated by a little rock wall to Ocean Beach, both were pretty nice and clean and had a little bit of surf there for Dan. We had been told by some locals that the beaches down here were like Perth beaches, but this one was not on that scale so the search will continue.

... 86 today at one point. Not quite as humid, but enough.

I have figured out that the great weather in California is a myth perpetuated by the travel and tourism departments here. I will never fall for that again. Never visit here the first two weeks of September..

we drove 112 miles, but walked not too much. We did a lot of the items on the list of things to do. Susan had a great time, most of the time, on her finale.
