It was hard work getting up, but the bridal shower was at 9am, so toddled over to join the ladies and see the lovely gifts they had bought for the girl. More food and drinks!
Very glad to go back to the suite to chill out in peace and quiet.I'm afraid a room full of women talking and not terribly quietly, my head ached.

... a last paddle in the Pacific. It was not the best sandy beach but had great breakers and I got soaked. Just as well my suitcase was in the car. Here we saw Amtrak trains! We have been near tracks most of our journey and only seen one freight train and like London Buses three come along at once! We then had to take the I 5 there being no alternative. ... I dropped in the kitchen on the first day (I still intend on finding that screw). After that we walked to the kissing statue which was lovely. Then we had lunch in The top of the Market fish restaurant and had philli steak sandwiches. Murray got a haircut again. We watched a films staring Robin Williams in his honour tonight. We both couldn't believe the news. A massive childhood hero to us both and it hurts us that he made so many people happy when he couldn't find happiness ...
... the beach boxes looked familiar, but that was not a surprise as they have been featured in so many movies and TV series.
One of the interesting things was the Police car, well Police Ute with roof racks and Surfboard. Seems a good job for some in Santa Monica.
