We awoke Christmas morning with slightly fuzzy heads and lacking the energy to make it down to the restaurant for our breakfast. I also felt gutsy enough to rent a scooter for two days to give myself some freedom to check out the island, like the small national park, "old town", where there were stilted houses and sea gypsies were mostly located. We apparently didn't get to the right spot for that ha but it was nice to go ...

... 8217; as our group tour would now become a private tour and it would cost double. We stood there and contemplated it for a few minutes then agreed we came here to do this tour so we were going to do it. Alright Susanna, we’re in!

We hopped in the back of her truck on the padded bed and enjoyed our 20 minute ride through the jungle to the pier in Old Lanta Town where we would meet up with her boyfriend Robbie and our captain Ken. The ride was so relaxing. ...
