... off the day. 8/3..we booked a tour to go see the Beach Today. We left our hotel at 8 and took a speedboat to Maya bay, this is where the beach was filmed. We weren't really wowed by this, so many people and boats, it was still very pretty though. We stopped off to snorkel for a bit, and then made our way to another beach for lunch, this was much prettier, we ended up giving our brochure away, so can't remember all the names! We had a delicious chicken curry here ...

... bunch of people who all happened to be staying there at the same time as us, but even with such a crowd we became the agony uncles, and 90% of our conversations became a kind of quasi counselling service, and some nights we were simply and entirely exhausted and spent from the lack of sleep and the emotional baggage which we were carrying from our fellow retreat seekers. We still don’t have a bad word to say about any of them, but it would have been nice if we could have used ...

Two ladies sitting at the bar had a great time watching our grimaces for an hour. The massage ladies clearly knew what they were doing though as they squeezed, pushed and pulled us about individually, focusing on the areas we each needed sorting. After, we had complimentary fresh pineapple and green tea. We started our walk back to our bikes but got hot ...

... Soon find one and the reviews confirm that I've dropped on, so booked in for one tomorrow. Bamboo only takes 2/3 days to heel, so not going to restrict anything; If you read this mum, it's going to be small(ish) and out of sight! Off to an Italian for the night. Typical Thailand; sick food, **** service. I guess 1 out of 2 isn't ...

      Terrible Travel Day

... with beautiful weather, and so we hopped on a large boat to do the 7 island tour of the region. Day was just great, got to jump off the boat, went swimming in nice bays, did a crazy trek to get to Maya Bay where they filmed the movie "The Beach" and spent the afternoon snorkelling and hanging out with some furry friends on Monkey Beach. Check out the pics. Off tomorrow to Railay Beach, our final stop in Thailand before flying south to Singapore for a couple ...
