A very special property- classic Californian Bungalow building of epic proportions.
Nothing too much to ask- early check in was accommodated, as was late check out.
Fabulous conference facilities, a superb pool and the sound of waves crashing along the shore below.
Beach to walk along, shopping nearby is also good.
Bed and pillows more delicious than you can imagine- need to take a running jump to get into bed though!
Staff couldn't be friendlier or more efficient.

... pavlova. Jordan and I went for a cooked breakfast, bacon/ham steak and eggs - A good choice we found, as we could finish almost all of it. There was a choice between a side of cornbread, toast or hot biscuits. Turns out "hot biscuits" are not freshly baked cookies, but scones! And "cornbread" is like a bad sponge cake, what we had at the Orientation breakfast back in Hawaii.

After breakfast we returned to the hotel and had a ...

And on the Sabbath day we rested. Well kind of anyway. We had a bit of a quieter day today. Had a sleep in and slower start to the day. Aaron was still asleep at 9.30am and given his sore leg last night we let him rest. Maybe he is having a growth spurt who knows!

We headed out to the OC Outlets today (OC for Orange County because this is where they used to grow oranges apparently!) and can you believe we caught the OC Trolley. This is ...

After a burger and some fries, we caught the train along the Disneyland Railroad which gave us a great snapshot of the park, with a commentary on the things we'd see along the way, including a ...

... next water fall was in the dark. If I wasn't holding onto her I would have been terrified. I'm guessing it helped calm her as well. The big fall was next and we all gave our best face as we dropped over the edge splashing into the bottom pool. Siena managed to absorb all the water for us.

On the second day at the park we explored California Adventures. Another amazing day. We got our fast pass straight away for the ultimate Cars ...

We're waiting to go on the Cars ride. Been here for 30 minutes already. Judging by the queue ahead of is I'd say it's a good hour to go yet. ...
