... knew we were almost there. We followed the sign as directed. The road twisted and turned and eventually ended with a dirt cul de sac and a dead end. We asked a dog walker where the park was. He had never heard of it. So we backtracked to the main highway to try again. When we finally found it, it was a lovely spot on the river. We were thrilled until we saw the “Campground Full” sign.

... long, the railroad has grown to 3/4 acre. The trains are driven into a workshop each night. They are checked for any necessary repairs,cleaned, and made ready for the next day.

It was a beautiful warm day to walk around the zoo. After returning to the RV park we had Happy Hour and a potluck dinner. So a nice end to a fun day.

... hotel califorina. We simply found a parkng lot that was off the beaten path and set up hotel cali. We went for a short hike to an abandoned house. The night was chilly and we had to snuggle to stay warm. In the am we were surprised at how quickly it got warm. ... in the middle of nowhere with no electricity. It had a watering hole right in the middle of the facility where the animals come at night to drink from it. We got picked up by a local and went on a little safari/ survival course. We drove all around the Namib desert chasing oryx, zebras, ostriches, and lots of other animals.
