This resort is a well oiled machine. Good, clean ablution blocks, nice menu and meals at the restaurants. Only negative is that they really pack campervan and tents in, there's not much room. However, we had a really great stay!

Nikky the dolphin and the Aquarium

We stuffed an oat bar and ran down to the beach for the dolphin briefing.  There were about 100 people there including some really annoying chinese girls who were determined not to stay in line so got in all of my pictures.  The dolphins, particularly Nicky, who had been visiting the beach for 30 years, all came into the bay as we …

We woke to another wet and dreary day but I had been told that the drive to Monkey Mia was 6-7 hours so it didn't really matter. I stopped at the Bakery in Coral Bay and couldn't resist the Apple turnover but hadn't realised it had custard and cream!!  I had an opportunity to wear off some of the fat as we did a 60 second pit stop photo at the …

First thing today we packed up and left camp early. Our first stop was at Shell Beach. We got out of the car and went for a walk to the beach. When we got there I felt the water and it was a little bit cold. We sat there for a bit and then went back. The reason for the shells at Shell Beach survive so well is because they have no other competition …

End of an era on the west coast

I just realised it has been a while since my last blog so I thought i'd better catch up quickly before I get too far ahead that my next blog is a published book! So this is a little backdated but I will try and catch up whilst I have a few spare days sitting in a hammock overlooking the beach and listening to the waves crash around the rocks ;) …
