... to have a great time despite the suboptimal gear.

After a meal at the beach bar, Brian, Chris and Mark drank until our day pass time ended and we were cut off. =)

We definitely got our $55 worth and came back to soak in the Atrium's hot tub. A couple from NY but really from Israel were enjoying their last evening. Talking to them made me reminisce about my days at Greengates (my high school). There was no political correctness ...

... br> You may remember we had docked at St Thomas island in the morning and throughout the previous day there had been dire warnings broadcast over the ship's public address system that the ship would leave at 3.45pm precisely. As soon as we put our bags back in our rooms, we but our swim suits on and jumped in the pool. South Caicos is definitely a better fit for all of us. We had our fun but South is where we love.

Afterwards we tried to find Pelican Beach to try to do some shelling but when we got there we found an eroded cliff. A nice couple sitting there suggested another way to get down to the beach farther to the east, but we were unable to find it. So, back to the resort to pack :( and ...

... journey Sunday afternoon, first flying to Vancouver and then Sam Francisco. As my flight from San Francisco to Newark was overbooked, there was nearly a riot at the gate. Luckily I already had my boarding pass, which was highly coveted and more valued than a Willy Wonka golden ticket. I didn't count myself lucky until I was actually on the flight and we were taking off, as I was worried about some awful last-minute change of plans. Sadly, 30 people were left to ...
