... he died he didn't want anymore statues built. He is buried in this secret garden. It is very pretty, with a waterfall flowing and concrete statues and little huts. Very peaceful and tranquil here. From here it took us about 45 minutes to get to 'Mountain Viewpoint' but what a view. It was worth every bump and every bit of rain on our back. You look right over the island of Koh Samui. The trip down was not quite as bumpy but very sharp turns as you are ...

... We were shoe horned in to an open topped boat, sitting in rows on wee narrow slats like birds huddled on a wire. It was a bit like going down Ayr beach on a sunny day with the hordes of day trippers trailing out of buses, except we jumped out of boats. ... s great and I can't wait to go home and be an auntie again. Only thing that this auntie doesn't do is change diapers so I'll be Jacob's cool auntie in a year or 2 but until then I'll just spoil him with presents aha. For our last day in Koh Phangan we got on a boat to Ko Tao where we were going to do some snorkeling! The fish there were much cooler then the ones in Vietnam and there were times where you were actually surrounded by a bunch of fishies! We even ...

... it was our hotel and we almost didn't get out of the bus). Our room is nice though the mattress is very hard. There is a small market outside the hotel which seemed perfect for a bit of dinner so we had “chicken” kebabs, corn and banana pancakes which was a really good intro to Thailand. Luckily the market was just closing so its not going to be loud and we have found out check out isn't until 12 tomorrow so hopefully we can catch up on sleep a bit before the full moon ...
