... to Goodyear and Scottsdale, we came close to Mexico and AT&T also recognized that we were close to Mexico as they texted and said that we could call from abroad. WHAT??? We were still in the U.S. of A. Along the way we saw about a mile of solar panels. And, we saw a lot of call boxes. Who uses call boxes in this day of cell phones? Before we got to Goodyear, we saw a sign for Gila Bend which ...
"Is that an organ, or is that an organ?!", said the old fellow beside me. No, I'm not talking about Roger! And Lorraine, get your mind out of the gutter! The organ referred to is an early 1920's vintage Wurlitzer theatre pipe organ, located at a pizza joint in Mesa called "Organ Stop Pizza". Odd combination, you say? Indeed it is, but what a gimmick. He was not bleeding and he ...
... huge PGA golf store but were not tempted. Ric*******ly brought 2 long-sleeve shirts on the trip and unfortunately we have been wearing that type of clothing rather than short sleeves. So we checked out Costco and ended up buying berries and a shirt. The next stop was Safeway where they honoured Heather's membership when I gave them her phone number. We stopped for greeting cards and stamps and a box for the mask we bought in Tubac.
