Slow news day today as were driving most of the day. Today was a contrast in weather and landscrape. We started in Encinitas in the low 70's and ended up in Arizona at 105 degrees!!! ... grey goose and mixers and just spent the whole night dancing, drinking and being together. When it started closing up, we came back to our hotel, the Travelodge- and continued drinking in another guys room. We have to get up so early tomorrow for our hot air ballooning adventure! It's going to be death as we all had far too much to drink and stayed up way too late!
Well, our average driving day was made so great with such a fabulous night! We love contiki!!
... in this extreme heat to do nothing- except trip over a fan cord and hit my wrist- the sore one, and it had just gotten to feeling better! Finally off to bed.

I haven't been shopping since Karen left but I expect there will be some pend up demand from Niki and Fiona who are arriving from some less well serviced communities.
