After heavy rain last night we were delighted to wake and see a lovely bright sunny day again so that we could play our planned one game of golf during this holiday.
We hired clubs, shoes and trollies and played the 9 hole Remarkable course then the 9 hole Coronet, both in excellent condition. The fairways were like walking on good carpet …
We spent best part of the day finding our way around the Resort and also catching up on some laundry washing (we have our own washing machine and tumble dryer in villa) - exciting eh..!! We checked out the golf driving range and had some therapy spending in the Pro Shop.
Later on Roma and Paul went off to Queenstown for a Jetboat ride …
During our time at Franz Josef the cloud coverage had been very low so we hadn't bothered to go to view the glacier there. Our intention was to hopefully view the Fox Glacier on our journey this morning through to Arrowtown.
