      ... cream cones, boat-to-boat!

The kids got their fill of the Ringo (tube) riding - with Adam pulling them around for about 2 hours. We fished (caught nothing), and got many pics of the kids, Ryan and Kristy jumping off the top deck of the boat. It was a peaceful, fun, beautiful cove, and a great relaxing way to spend the last full day.

... a wall from an energy standpoint. I was deflated with my recurring sore muscle problem, and all of the Goodners were a little cranky after being on a boat for 2.5 weeks. It may not sound like a tough challenge (and it isn't), but constant togetherness in a confined space (even one that's 78 feet) can create a feeling of claustrophobia after a while. All the staff were wearing the same shorts, tops and even trainers..... They did a brilliant job of reversing the boat to the quay, then 2 fuel tankers arrived, we spoke to one of the men dealing with the boat he said they were putting in 70tons of fuel but it holds approx. 240 tons which works out to about 7200000 litres imagine what that cost. But ...

... best beaches at home. I had been warned, but Turkish beaches are really just rubble and rocks at the endure of the water. In essence, it's very pretty from a distance but not great to walk on. So we turned back for our little pier and found a water sports pavilion from where we hired a jet ski. Ben and I took turns taking Mitch and Alex. It was my first time driving on of those machines and I found it pretty heavy ...

A much needed break in Bodrum

... the buffet doesn't finish until 10.30, and we arrived to the poolside restaurant to find 3 types of olives, a half a dozen Turkish cheeses, eggs anyway you like them, pancakes with crushed pistachio and coconut to sprinkle over the maple syrup and a host of other lovely fresh options. After breakfast we headed for the pool- a stunning infinity pool on 2 levels overlooking Bodrum and the hills behind. The hotel has 3 other pools as well, but not with these views. ...
