“disappointed, horrified, and treated badly”

This hotel is definitely looking run down and needs a complete face lift, but that is not why I have given it a one-star rating. They had a jazz festival on the grounds the last night of our stay in Papeete and the festival literally took over the whole hotel. The manager was no where to be found (as he was reportedly enjoying the festival). Finally, at 1:30 am, the festival ended and all the paying guests had a sleepless night. We've never experienced such blatant disregard for guests.

We made it to Papeete. We are staying at Le Meridian Tahiti until our 6am flight tomorrow morning to Bora Bora... we should be in Bora Bora bright and early tomorrow. It is a 50 min flight and 20 min boat ride. Our hotel here in Papeete is nice, but we'd much rather be in our over the water bungalow in Bora Bora! :)
