Jalan Padma, Legian Beach Kuta, Bali, Indonesia, 80361, 62-361-755971
The first thing we noticed on leaving the plane was the incredible humidity, even at night, and the distinct lack of fans or air conditioning in the airport. Once we eventually got our visas and cleared customs we were greeted by our hotel representative and tour guide, Wayan, or 'Hot Curry' to his friends and driven through the absolute madness that is the streets of Bali. The relatively small island of Bali has a large population of roughly 3.5million, so space is scarce, and it seems that ...

... curry, both of which were very unique and very fabulous. After dinner, we headed back to the room and chatted for about three hours before bed, catching each other up on everything that had happened in the two months since the last time we saw each other.
We slept in on Wednesday and then headed to a quaint restaurant in a small narrow alley connecting Poppies 1 and 2 for breakfast. We spent the morning exploring the town, finally ending up at the beach around 1:30. We headed ...
On Tuesday we hung around the pool and hotel and did a bit of shopping while it rained :( For dinner I tried something different to eat - it was sting ray - lets just say I wont eat that again :)
We hired a car on Wednesday and spent the day getting used to driving around here again - tough work :) we also went down to Seminyak - the 'posh' end of Bali (not much to it really), it was another cloudy and yucky day. For dinner that night we ate a normal indo dinner ...
... the way passing backpackers doing as we had done on our first night. Scowling around the streets in search of a place to stay. This time we was the drunken idiots. I wander if they felt like we did?

OUCH!!!! Oh how we suffered. Consoling ourselves with **** food the whole day. We headed down to the beach again but I was in no state to surf. So I just went for a swim whilst Shelley got a pedicure on the beach.
Playing in the 8 ft waves was a great ...
... in that hostel, and we managed to get a room for 40,000rupias each.
Tom and Andy's room was fine, but for some reason Chris' and my room was pretty ****; the front door wouldn't shut properly (but at least it would lock), the whole room smelt of sewage when you turned on the sink tap (it was so bad it actually started to make me gag, and I have a really bad sense of smell! I can't even smell off milk! [Tom: Hahaha! A brilliant fact about you mate.][Rich: haha. However, I CAN ...
... thought about art and what I once heard from a masseuse: it's just as gratifying sometimes for the masseuse giving the massage, an expression of their self, their art, healing the body. Tired, I hoped to go to bed as soon as possible. The only problem was that Helena, a girl from Klungkung came over along with Nathan, the Gianyar guy. And finally Ed had woken up from the dead. They all wanted to drink, but there was absolutely no way I would, having absolutely no desire ...
Ubud, Bali, Indonesia snclark8... our way to Bali. Our plane is not only providing air-conditioning but a fine mist as well. Apparently flying Indo style is much like being a head of lettuce at the grocers. Though I have to admit this is probably much healthier on the sinuses... I am watching the scenery change and we are currently passing some volcanoes. We are officially in the ring of fire, which makes me excites. We might just have to tour something for the nerdy scientist in me...
Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia graceonthego... was cool. Then we went to our last stop for the day - we went to a town called Ubud where we picked up our album from the photo shoot we did on Friday. We spent about an hour in Ubud looking at shops and uploading the edited photos from the photo shoot to the travel blog. Finally we were on our way to the airport... We made it there by around 7pm. We refreshed ourselves, changed and go ready to check in. We were fortunate to get ...
Bali, Indonesia rvs... Then came out two boys with wooden push brooms, made the pile again, and the crazy horse man proceeded to do the same thing. They did this four or five times before a few of the guys tackled the "mounted man", and restrained him. The only thing we could figure was that he was supposed to be possessed by an evil spirit or something. Shortly after they announced that was the end of the show. So we left and headed over to a restaurant. We were supposed to ...
Ubud, Bali, Indonesia tomandamandaToday was our last day in Bali and our air flight back to Singapore was at 22: 05. That meant we had lots of time before going to the airport. We arranged for the driver to send us to Kuta for some shopping. We left the resort at around 10:30 for Kuta and we arrived Kuta at around noon. We went straight to my favourite shop to do some shopping. This shop has many swin wear brands in one shop eg. Rip Curl, Billabong etc. My favourite part of ...
