Today was spent driving from San Francisco to Bridgeport, through the Sierra Nevada. The roads here are really well maintained. What is good is that trucks need to drive 10mph slower than cars and they stay in the slow lane. For me this meant feeling much safer on the road, no trucks coming up fast behind you, or squeezing you out. It was a long day, but we saw snow up close and ...

From here I headed down the west side of the mountains which took me through numerous fields of fruit trees and wineries. I had lunch at a fruit stand just outside one of the fruit farms. I had a pluot, red pear and a bunch of grapes.

From the fruit stand I ...

... road again..." For now, Ilana is on her tours till October 8th and I am in a rented 5th-Wheel in the RV park here at Paradise Shores, where I am Camp Hosting through October and fishing when I can, catching more trophy sized wild trout than anybody deserves to. In the next month or so I have to locate an RV park for us to Winter-over in as Camp Hosts. We are mostly looking at Southern and Central California and Palm Springs---somewhere warm. Then we have ...
