HI friends and family, Today was a pretty quiet day.  Mike was able to arrange to play "The Game" and had a great day on the Bay Golf Course.  He killed it, as suspected.  Had a great time. Today, I went to La Montage.  It ends up that it is the premier resort here on Mauit.  From $1500-$7000/night.  I went to the most amazing spa today.  So beautiful.  I thought that since I ...

Most of the day we rotated - Snorkeling -- Lay out ----- Pool ---- Lay out --- pool - on and on. During the snorkeling, we seen some large fish - I think these are the guys the fishermen are after.

In the afternoon, we were treated to a show with a mother and calf humpback whale. The baby was splashing and slapping its tail while the mother hung out. Kind of like watching their kid on a ...

They had some vendors set up, and I bought an ornament and some tiki carvings - a nice momento of the trip! The first show of the night was the ...

... put on his snorkelling gear and headed down to the beach. This beach was nice, not as windy as some of the others, nice sand, and Joel enjoyed the snorkelling. We hung out there for a few hours and headed back to the condo in the early afternoon. After cleaning up a bit, we headed down to a diner we had spied when out one night - hamburgers and shakes - can't go wrong with that combo! We spent the rest of the afternoon at the condo laying low, had a snooze, I read ...

... hoping my prescription sunglasses are in there. As I walk away, Jeff blows the horn- he found them in the car.
I could use a handful of Valium! Hahaha

One of the most photographed sites on Maui is the 'Iao Needle located in 'Iao Valley State Park. This is where we are headed and it is a gorgeous drive to the park.

The 'Iao Needle rises straight up 2,250 feet. It is actually part of a ridge but it was not eroded like the ridge ...
