After brunch we drove up Camelback Mountain for a view of the Papago Buttes and downtown Phoenix - just great.

Picked Abby up from Doggy day care and she was fine - had a good day cause right now she is crashed out on the lounge next to me!

... to the Cars and Coffee car show at the Penske dealership compound in Scottsdale. The dealership included a small museum which contains many of his winning CART and NASCAR cars. There was a variety of cars in attendance, Porsches, Mini's (3 old ones with right hand drive) Cobras, Austin Healey and a Consulier. This was a high end dealership with new and used Maserati, Bentley, Jags, Rolls, Ferraris and in the back lot they had a course set up to take the Range Rovers ...

(pointing to an area about 1/2 mile away) "That is where they come up from the border after passing through the gaps in the mountains. ... before eating lunch after 2 pm. when we missed the raptor live release.

We left 3-ish and the traffic was worst at Tuscon and later in Phoenix. We stopped at Casa Grande for a quick visit with Roger and Sandra Ebata. They drive their huge motor home there and we caught them as they were taking off for a hockey game in Phoenix.It has been a very long time since we saw them!

Dinner was Chinese food - way better vegetables than we get at home.
