We went to Deerfield Beach only 20 minutes from the house and were able to enjoy the seashore for about a half hour before the rain came. Unfortunately the last two days for fire training were booked, so I have to wait until next week to complete the training. Darn, guess I have to enjoy ladies night again!

The owner's wife gave me a call and we had a lovely chat. I went to Ellen and Nick for dinner, we had delicious salmon fillets with asparagus, green beens and baby potatoes yum! ...

... apparent. It was a pensioner cruise! But we made the most of it. The cruise took us past beautiful waterside mansions and luxury yachts and delivered us to an all you can eat BBQ ribs, chicken and shrimp festival. That was followed by a variety show which seemed to emanate a Hi-5 vibe, but the juggler was pretty talented. Back on the boat we cruised past some more mansions all lit up with Christmas lights which photos just could not serve justice ...
