Got 1st class tix. had compartment to ourselves for awhile--laid down & slept. In Meknes 2 others came in.

Nice driver took us to the Cottages. Difficult to find, but he was very nice.

Got in our cottage, Sylvain showed us around. Went to the pool.

Laid down, not feeling well. A/C not working. Sylvain couldn't get it to work, so we moved to another cottage.

    Dinner: chicken & couscous--delish.

We then came home, showered, and relaxed for awhile during the hottest part of the day. The Canadians arrived, so we got to meet them. They might be joining us on our ...

The alarm went off at 4 am. Bleh. We had stayed up past 11 pm getting our suitcases and everything ready. We were a bit bleary eyed.

There was already a Moroccan (?) man sitting in the lobby when we went downstairs at 4:45. A few others came after us. Some of them took the 5 am shuttle with us. We were at the airport by 5:05 am. We got checked in then headed to security, which took awhile. There was something in Hunter's backpack they didn't like on the ...

... travels the world. This time, we are replacing Flat Stanley with Hat Stanley, that you can see in pic #1. Look for him along our travels! Update: we are here in Marrakech! But our luggage is not. We have settled into Riad Clementine with our carry-ons and our tired selves. One of Jill's bags came, but unfortunately that one was fillled with warm clothes to donate to the Berbers or something like that. We will keep you updated! Love, ...
