    ... deux Indiens originaires de Tanzanie et du Kenya, etc.lundi soir, en fin de journée, les deux co-gérants nous ont offert un petit concert intime accompagnés par la guitare. Seule note discordante,ils ne voulaient chanter que dU Western américain et pas de chants philippins. CE SOir-là au bord d'une rizière dans un petit kiosque en bois, je ne l'oublierai jamais. Mardi donc je me suis rendu au centre ville ...

    • The beach here is never crowded except at Easter when it's packed with Filipinos celebrating the resurrection (ie. getting ******!)
    Apart from one man selling peanuts and the odd pearl vendor, a few young kids sell shell necklaces for 15p. No hassle.

    ... for a lot longer and they had to call out another boat to transfer us, and yes, get the boys down. Anyway, after all that the girls still went up!!! We had great weather again yesterday so we wanted to make the most if the pool and the beach as we new there were predicted showers for today...and they were right. Late yesterday afternoon we made our way to a huge shopping centre that had heaps of restaurants, prices here are the same as back home if not more expensive so not ...

    ... he’s done very well for himself, even if he didn't have the bravery to cross Cebu's biggest flood river to get us to our destination. So much for the ‘honest and trustworthy’ airport Yellow Cabs.

    We check in and it’s now 1.00 am – 3a.m. in AUS. Travel wired from our escape from the river of death and out of sorts time wise, it’s hard to get to sleep. Lucky we’ve got nothing to do tomorrow ...

    ... imagine doing this for a couple of days, combining it with a few rums and some cards during the afternoon, it is a very very relaxing time and just what we were after!

    It was not all relaxing however as on the second day I noticed quite a few ants around my rucksack and upon closer inspection, the little blighters seemed to be having a family day out IN my rucksack!! They had managed to find their way in through a tiny hole ...
