    ... br> Well considering we were here for three days, we did very little but when you do very little on a tropical island in beautiful sunshine with incredible food, you really do feel wonderful! Bantayan is a sleepy, laid back place with fantastic people and fantastic food. We really enjoyed spending time relaxing and recharging and were ready to move on to our next adventure on Negros...

    ... sand in front of a large purple featherstar (a sort of fan shaped soft coral that can be huge) and proceeded to stare at it for ages. Very strange behaviour so I went to join him to see what he was doing and as I hovered like spiderman, a foot above the sea bed he pointed into the feather star and there they were, two of the smallest most beautiful little creatures I've seen (apart from Lucy, obviously!).     ... more normal. I was able to put a regular shoe on for the first time in nearly 2 weeks. While at the packet-pickup, I started feeling the excitement of the race vibe. The guy who gave me my shirt and packet was wearing a Chicago Marathon shirt -- he had run the race before! I told him I was from Chicago and we chatted a bit. I started thinking, "maybe I can do this after all..."

    ... CSCR) is one of the more enjoyable rides within cebu city. The road for the most part is smooth and fast unhindered riding, why people chose to drive through Cebu Midtown is beyond me. At the San Isdro Crossing on the CSCR, turn left if u are coming from the city, then head down the road until the second junction, which unusually is signed posted, Crocolandia.
