... Bridge Closed ! We once again confirmed our belief that there is nothing like Midwesterners. As we sat in the RV trying to figure out what our next move was a car pulled up and asked us where we wanted to go. We told him our destination and he began giving us directions . About halfway through,he paused and told us that he didn't have to be any place quickly so suggested that we follow him. He took us through winding roads that we never would have ...

Today we mostly drove across New York and into the popular Adirondack region. Along the way we saw everything from turkeys with chicks to deer along the road. Not sure where we were headed, we looked up white water rafting and plugged an outfitters address in the GPS. Many hours and windy roads later we meet Rebecca, the owner of ...

    First Stop

We're packed and ready to get on the road. We head to Saratoga, New York. Our hotel, the Saratoga Downtowner is a funky place. There's a 4 x12 foot pool in the middle of the motel with a greenhouse roof over top. We walked around this quaint town stopping at shops and riding the carousel. At our dinner spot, the Circus Cafe there was popcorn on the table for a snack. Will, Mei and I enjoyed a swim in the funky pool. ...
