We found the turn in the road where we had seen the car crash ... and found the only (quite small!) potholes, just on the side of the road that I had managed to catch and cause our flat tire. We really had gotten quite unlucky!

A short while further down the roadway, we came upon Pine Creek Road. Our GPS told us to turn left (and that it was 14km ...

... had a number of different animals other than kualas as well. We fed a few kangaroos, and walked around viewing all the different animals, had a quick chat with a bird who took a liking to us, he just made a sound every time we did so it was quite funny! Afterwards we went for a walk at mount coo tha. Not a mountain, just a hill area with nice gardens and has a lookout point over Brisbane city which was really nice in the sun. Back home in the evening and cooked ...

... area for Campers and Tents only. Woo hoo our motorhome is now a camper - or so we have decided, so this is a good possibility for the first night accommodation when we pick the camper up. We then drove through the back byways Roadvale (what a cute town) thence Harrisville, Marburg (beautiful) and home the usual route via Esk.

What a wonderful day. Left at 9am and home at 7.15pm and drove over 510km!!!
