So - despite the fact that I do not have a Facebook account (although occasionally use my wife's!) do not use Twitter, have no idea what Instagram is, and have generally regarding anyone who has a blog as being a self obsessed, narcissistic, self important tosser - I now have a blog!

My thanks to Samantha Strachan at Flight Centre, Broadway for setting it up for me (she has been our long suffering travel agent for almost 3 months ...

There are several musical halls there....a large one and smaller ones. The opera Madam Butterfly has been playing there for two months now. What looks like boats planted in the harbor are tiled structures that make them look like fish scales. We walked around and viewed ...

... dotted with boats and there are coves and beaches dotted everywhere, most of them completely empty. The views of the opera house and bridge from every angle are always breathtaking. The Bondi to Coogee coastal walk is one of my favourite things to do at the weekend. So many beautiful beaches along the way. The same with the spit bridge to Manly walk. I also love walking along the North Sydney coastline from Cremorne around to Taronga Zoo. So many amazing viewpoints to sit and ...
