... For one, they have a trash collection system and hundreds of "no dumping, fine applies" banners around the country. As a consequence, it is clean and no one throws anything anywhere (learn Indonesia!). People speak english and are generally much more educated than the rest of the continent (south east anyway). ... We took a green electric trike back to the dock. Traffic was bad so he took us on a round about route that brought us through areas tourists seldom see, where the real people of Boracay live. At the dock we paid our ferry fees and terminal fees again, and got on our boat to the mainland. After our short trip we made our way out front to our pre-arranged ride home.
Our Boracay adventure was over.

... The beach was gorgeous, just like all of the other beaches along Boracay. The sand was covered in puka shells and the water was beautiful shades of blue. Soon enough we were out of beers so we headed back home. It was an early night for most of us.
