    ... The student was asked questions in front of an audience. The professors then left to consider their verdict. An 'A' was displayed if the student had passed the examination and celebrations followed.

    Dinner in Salamanca at Hispania20; a six course degustation menu. Not all the courses were recognisable and Spanish menu and Spanish waiter could not enlighten us, but everything was delicious. Perfecto (at last)!

    ... could not help us at the inter city rail station. There was not place to put the vehicle, so they were just going to take us to the station -- then leave....
