We were In Biarritz for two days. On the first day of Biarritz we arived late. We looked around the shops and then had dinner, then went to bed. On the second day we went out for breakfast in the morning. In the afternoon we went shopping and went for a swim in the beach. ... road on Day 7, halfway up the climb. Someone had "modified" one of the Haute Route standard safety signs. Turned it around to the blank side and graffitied the Haute Route logo, plus the words "ONE LIFE, LIVE IT!" What a fitting end to an incredible experience.

... our window ledge. Tomorrow night we plan to indulge in the house specialty of the open air restaurant across the street - -paella -- loaded with langoustine and mussels and chorizo offered up from a huge wok/cauldron.

We are off tomorrow by bus and then train to start our long Camino journey.
