On Monday I got a ferry to Kho Phi Phi Don island. This looks like two large islands made up of large limestone cliffs joined by a strip of land. Most of the buildings are on this strip of land, however there are a few hotels dotted on remote beaches that can only be reached by a long boat taxi.

There are no cars on Phi Phi, so everything is moved around by cart or you have to get a water taxi. This meant ...

This morning was an early start, quick breaky then pick up for our tours to the islands. The journey to Phuket itself is quite long, about an hour. Once at the marina, you were informed about the day ahead and advised to take a sea sickness tablet - note: they should've told everyone to take a tablet! We hop on the speedboat, there was about 30 of us and I sat at the very back in front of the engines. I didn't get too wet but sometimes ...

We stumbled across the cheapest we'd seen by far and decided to go in - shared bathroom, no plug sockets in the room etc but it would only be a place to sleep! Yet to eat we put on our swimmers and headed the 50m or so to the beach. En route we passed many a bar and quite a "Magaluf" feeling environment - tropical paradise may not be an accurate ...

Had an awesome day today! We woke up early because we went on a boat trip to Maya Bay the famous beach in Thailand where the film "The beach" was filmed. It was forcast rain today, but we as we are on such a tight schedule (as we need to be back in Koh Phangan for the 8th) so we decided to just do it,didn't look too bad this morning, cloudy but the sun was out, about 10 of us boarded the very rickety boat and off we went, I can't get over how clear ...

I was actually really excited to chat with my sister this morning. I feel like she is going through the same thing as I am, or as the Thais say, same same but different. We're both dealing with our own personal challenges, especially when it comes to self love and applying remaining love to others. I let her know that today I pray for two conflicting answers: please bring me the love that I pray for and if not, please bring me solace to get over ...
