Koh Samui! I've put all of koh samui into one post as honestly, we haven't done very much at all! We left chiang mai on the 17th and flew down to koh samui. However, upon arriving at the airport and trying to check in we discovered I'd booked the flights for the 16th! Schoolboy error! So, a new flight paid for we arrived in koh samui And headed to a beach hut resort we'd read good things about Mae Nam beach. And what a great place it was, about ...

We both opted for a teeth clean and Steve decided to get the caps ...

... all these really posh bungalows, thinking "wow, is he really staying here? On his own too?" Yes, he was. He saw me coming and he opened up his front door, to his pad he was staying for the next few nights. Private swimming pool, two bedrooms, kitchen, lounge, patio. Wowzers, he really must of paid an arm and leg for this place over the Christmas and New Year period. Jumping back on our mopeds we took the main road all the way around the island, stopping off at different points for ...

... dirt track with huge potholes, cracks and gravel patches in it. It had also started to rain again by this point, and although the driver did stop to put the roof back over us, going uphill at that speed it did little to help and we were all soon pretty soaked, flying over the bumps and doing our best to hold on. The ride to the top was definitely worth it though, as we were provided with lunch when we arrived. We had spicy chicken soup, sweet and sour chicken, ...
