... parties. There goes the relaxing pool time, as I watch the couples and wonder how they got there and where their "relationships" will go. A drink at the swim up bar helps distract my always questioning mind. I'll have to ask my parents if I was one of those kids always asking "why" as I feel I likely was. It truly is amazing when you are travelling in such a country of difference alone. When interesting social commentary or things you simply wonder about arise and you have no one to ...

... this close we sleep to the beach and/or this soundproof are the rooms. The breakfast with sea view tastes more than ever and it has a kind of relaxing effect to have breakfast at the beach. Genoeg getalmd, tijd voor wat actie. De KBO shop (kite boarding asia) is een 15-tal kilometer verder aan de west kust van Koh Samui. Wij logeren aan de noordkust aan Maenam Beach. ... quite a bit of time here getting organised. We booked the rest of Thailand in terms of accommodation and transport and most tours. We sorted out SIM cards as well. And we just adjusted to Thailand, preparing ourselves to be scammed at every corner, etc. We did manage to make it out to the beach on our second day which was relatively empty of people. The water was hot, but the floor was a bit slimy so we stayed ...

... make plans for tonight. Have a really chilled evening playing and winning at pool (first time for everything!) and drinking. Then head out for a waterfall party. By this point I'm rather merry and Sam and I somehow manage to wangle sitting on the bumper of a taxi to the pirates bar we frequent, taking selfies as we go (obviously). We change our minds last minute and decide to just party on the beach instead. I however have had way too ...
