... we made our next stop at Chewang beach, the famous backpackers area. Here we called at Ark bar beach club where we had lunch, fruit smoothies and a chill on the beach front. It was a really nice day so topping up the tan at the same time. After a couple of hours we hopped back on our bikes and continues further around the island. We stopped for the perfect photo opportunity at the view point over looking Chewang beach, stunning backdrop for photos. We didn't stay here long as there ...

... three of the Brazilians passed out in the bar. You have to be an extremely tolerant person to be a proprietor to the full moon party debauchery.

House music played all night long on the beach and everyone was dancing. I think I hit a sweet spot of drinking to be still in control, yet still had enough of a good time. However, I was too scared to bring my phone out with me, which I figured would be a good idea anyway, since I didn't ...

It was quite a sweaty trip, climbing steep hills, a burning sun and 35 degrees celsius, but the view was very rewarding, it was definitely worth it! After spending a few minutes on the top, drinking lots of water and enjoying the view, it was time to go down again. On our way down, our guide told us to watch our left side. After a ...

... en we leveren de brommer in zonder problemen. Geen extra schade aangebracht :-). Thursday is our last full day on Koh Samui so we must enjoy it to the limit! We drive our mopeds to the Crystal Beach which is indeed a very idyllic spot on the island but it is not as deserted as we hoped it would be. It had something cozy because it's a small beach in a bay. We have lunch on the beach and then soon realize it is already 16h and we had to return one of the mopeds at 15h... Half an ...

... we rented a moped and did some exploring, we headed up to a waterfall which was really beautiful and worth the trip up the mountain. We also went to visit another temple which sadly was quite sparce and not a patch on what we'd seen in chiang mai. We then spent the afternoon on Chawemg beach, koh samui's best known beach. It was very pretty, with much whiter and finer sand than on Mae beach but it was also very touristy and busy, lots of ...
