30 minutes on a bus, 10 minutes here …30 minutes on a bus, 10 minutes there goes the ticky tacky tour bus as we hit all the highlights, and some lowlights, of Bohols’ beauty. The Chocolate Hills (10 mins) ..only not chocolate cause the grass is green in wet season, Tarsiers (10 mins) – ...

... the Spanish Invaders and killing their leader Ferdinand Magellan on April 27, 1521. Lapulapu became the first Filipino to have repelled European aggression.

We then went to see Magellan's cross, the large cross is made of Tindalo wood, and it encases the original cross planted by Ferdinand Magellan at that very site on April 21, 1521. At this same location, we visited the Church and Convent of Santo Nino (Basilica del Santo Nino), it is one of ...

... I could get halo-halo before leaving, but they have an after-hours (10 p.m. to 6 a.m.) menu. Sadly, it does not feature halo-halo.

Who am I to complain, though, since that was just about the only disappointment of my trip? I had a green mango shake instead, and we were soon on our way to the airport. We had a direct flight this time, which was nice, and I spent the return trip writing in my journal and napping.
