    ... and worked well, has a timer on it so will shut off after a while - ideal as you get off to sleep with some air circulating.

    Thur 2nd July - Got up at 7:30am, tea and watch the world from the patio. Checked out the salad crops, cucumbers taking over the place and tomatoes now beginning to ripen.     Now I am in a place that is so different to where I have been for the last few days. It’s normal. You can go to a café and have a beer, wear shorts and a singlet, the temperature is a nice 30 degrees and the people are normal and very relaxed ( Greek style living). After the history lesson and wander along the beach we returned to the jeep and headed out of town towards the border between North Cyprus and the British Sovereign Base area.
