... a 20min walk made all the more better by flat roads and no boots. It was a quick six hours, a few beers, some sun, something to eat and we appeared to be off. It wasn't quite like that, we talked, we caught up, we found out all the Swansea gossip and then we were off. My T shirt sun tan may well become a craze in the costa del sol but I'll wait and see. Back to the airport and into the lounge (I'm an international traveler) before joining the flight for home and yes, we were the last ones ...

A busy final week. Joy treated us to a tasty lunch at Las Tablas in Torre. Delicious Spanish food with a bit of a twist . The Feria was just starting in Torre and immediately in front of Joy's place they had erected a tent for the day raves, the first of which was already in full , very loud, flow. These run from lunchtime to early evening for the 3 days of the feria.( The night one then takes over at the other end of town to ensure non- stop partying.) Anyway ...

... in Morrocco and Portugal we decided to stay in Malaga to take advantage of our amazingly, cheap apartment. It feels a bit like cheating but when it gets chilly from 5pm onwards the awning is not a lot of comfort.

Our stay has been an eye opener and I think I finally understand why so many Brits spend the winter here. The Costa del Sol is beautiful with miles and miles of beach surrounded by towering, sculptured mountains full of hidden villages and lakes if the ...

... wrote a lot about my 2 days in Malaga when I was waiting for my train to Barcelona, but in the interest of getting highlights from other cities in, here are the highlights:

-exploring the beautiful city
-lunchtime relaxation at a nice little cafe in an alley (although being surrounded by smokers on both sides definitely brought the quality down)
-my new Spanish earring (love them!)
-waterfront parks
-walks through old ruins ...
