    ... rustle of the trees. After a while I started trying to find my way out of the forest; that took a good hour and a half.     ... are sweating and it doesn't relent till well after 10pm. You can see groups of locals hopping from door way to doorway down the high street as they try to get a cool blast from the air conditioners. I have been told it hasn't rained for 3 months now, and everyone is praying for a shower. We got to the hotel and met with Ed and Ollie.     ... the chicken heads, I had a nibble at the feet and they weren't bad, once you had spat out the bone. Not a lot of meat on them, but it just tasted like chicken to me. Growing in confidence, I thought I would give the cow intestines a try too... that was a mistake! They were so chewy and I couldn't swallow them, I felt like I was going to be sick. Whilst most people went out that night, I had plans to hike Baiyunshan the next day, so I called it a night after dinner and headed to the hotel.
