... conditioned minibus. This was real luxury and we had the novelty too of travelling facing forwards, instead of sideways or backwards as we do in Kobin’s taxi. It was good to be able to see more of the countryside and the journey through undulating forested hills was very pleasant. As we approached Phang Nga the hills became more dramatic as we entered an area of limestone crags.

... see us struggling to stop them blowing over with each gentle gust of wind. We were glad to get back to our usual spot for the second lesson. Today we were teaching “shops” which was quite fun. We had a butcher, a pharmacy, a hardware shop and a bakery. The children had to identify which shop they would go to to purchase certain items. On the shopping list for the bakery was “donuts”.
