      ... food really quite edible and bags arrived unscathed. Can't ask much more than that!

      Arrived at Casa Calma Hotel at 6am. Avery small boutique hotel that is enviromentaly friendly. Easy to spot in the street as the whole hotel is covered with a hanging garden!

      Don Laine Campground was one of the nicest campgrounds we have been in since we left Roseville California. It was in the rolling hills of Pennsylvania just north of Allentown. The campground was situated on the top of a hill and you could see the all the hills below us and they were in full fall color. This was a terrific campground.       ... offered few, if any, rest stops on major highways and very few scenic overlooks. Neither were there any mile markers, leaving us to wonder exactly where we were sometimes......

      We loved Canadian Walmarts - they offered great free wifi - to date, we haven't found free wifi at any US Walmarts.

      The Canadians we met seemed pretty happy with their lives and all took pride in being Canadian.

      ... earplugs. Sigh. We drove about 300 miles today, stopping for the night at Echo Valley Campground in Ravine, PA. Very pretty and quiet place, forty or so miles from Harrisburg.       On the way back from the restaurant, I stopped to gas up my bike. Then I decided I should check and fill my tires before returning to the motel. It feels good to get to the room prepared to ride first thing in the morning.
