    ... food really quite edible and bags arrived unscathed. Can't ask much more than that!

    Arrived at Casa Calma Hotel at 6am. Avery small boutique hotel that is enviromentaly friendly. Easy to spot in the street as the whole hotel is covered with a hanging garden!

    Don Laine Campground was one of the nicest campgrounds we have been in since we left Roseville California. It was in the rolling hills of Pennsylvania just north of Allentown. The campground was situated on the top of a hill and you could see the all the hills below us and they were in full fall color. This was a terrific campground.     ... gulp!) for diesel fuel, with Ontario being the least expensive. On the bright side, we didn't have to search around for the least expensive gas. We were very happy, though, when we arrived at the border town of Calais, Maine and diesel fuel was $3.79 a gallon!

    ... as we crossed into Maryland. We finally had a Cracker Barrell experience today at lunch. I had crusty grilled trout with lemon, sweet potatoes, crunchy broccoli and moist flaky buttermilk tea biscuits slathered with lots of butter. Yummy!
