Oct 20, X'ian to Yichang
... We then headed to Yichang, our port to board our river ship for the Yangtze cruise. The ship was not in Yichang as expected, but a further 60 odd kms by road to the boarding point. We had to split into 2 groups because the buses were full. Leonie, Amanda, and Bill went in the bus with the local cruise workers; the girls reckoned the last time they were purved on as much was when they were in their twenties!!! Next train – off to Wuchang. I wasn’t aware that I had made a
mistake on my itinerary until my very nice seat mate discovered that I

... and poor Gary was in the middle of me and Sonja stressing. Thankfully one of my students had found out for me that there were seats left on the early morning train and had written down in Chinese for me exactly what I needed and where I wanted to go. My exam is at 5pm on Saturday and I cant afford to miss it!! Shanghai is 6 hours on the fast train from Wuhan!!! Plan of action is to get up at 4am and head to Hankou train station in the hope of getting a train!!

... hari-hari saya kurang lebih 2 malam. Cuaca terlihat bagus dan penerbangan saya pun cukup lancar pada hari itu.
Perjalanan lalu dilanjutkan dari Guangzhou menuju Wuhan yang ditempuh kurang lebih 1 jam. Saya pun cukup terkesima melihat 2 airport yang saya kunjungi. Dari arsitektur dan pelayanan nya pun cukup bagus. Tidak heran mengapa begitu banyak orang-orang mengatakan bahwa China adalah negara yang berkembang cukup pesat dalam era ini.
