... we went into an interesting art museum fitted into the rooms and passages under the castle. I love the way these old towns retrofit historic architecture to give it new purpose. Next, time to visit the castle museum and go up in the tower. Wrong, closed for the holidays. Lunch at another recommended restaurant. The restaurants and shops were really benefiting by all the museums and other attractions being closed. Then off to the Egon Schiele Museum which the website ...

... It has a baroque majesty about it created in part by several Prince-Archbishops who all managed major building programs leaving over 100 churches, castles, and palaces in the village.

... all again. What starts off as quite civilised gets quite messy, pretty quickly as all bar crawls do, the funny thing was being on rafts and having to actually do excercise in between pubs. There were plenty of other groups on the river and it was fun and games running into them at each pub or out on the water. Now thankfully the water wasn't actually that deep, we had to be more careful that we would hit rocks and pop the raft then us falling in and not being able ...

... We left Brno also from Kolisce Street. The building is about 4 stories of flats, with shops on the ground level, is a triangular shape fronting two streets with a courtyard in the middle. We tried to find the back entrance and get into the courtyard but couldn't. We asked in a few of the shops if they had a back door we could get to the courtyard - but it was very clearly no - they were blocked up.
So.. we walked off to the station with our ...
