    A day on the Malecon

    ... is open-air to the Malecon so fun to sit there and watch all the action in the Bay and on the Malecon. Part way through our time at Seņor Frog's, the entire restaurant is told to be up and dancing on the floor or the chairs or even tables! Yikes!! When this went on - even the folks on the Malecon joined in on the dancing. Once the music stopped, everyone just went back to doing whatever. Just a hoot!!!

    ... and this way, those employees can get off the ship. I was angrily sent back to my cabin where I had to wait for the drill to be over with, and miss my Jungle Zip line and Rappelling tour. SO. TICKED. Especially because I had had to get up so early and help out for no reason now!


    I slept for about 4 hours and went ashore once the drill finally ended. All I had time to do was walk some of the beach and I got myself a pina colada and tacos at a restaurant ...

    ... that don't follow my blogs religiously...) so I don't find it stressful at all. I wake up, have a shower (always have to look my best for flights as I'm almost always flying standby) and work my way through, rack after rack, drawer after drawer, adding items into the oversized suitcase that I usually fill to capacity, and subsequently have to empty slightly at the check in counter when my bag weighs in over 50lbs.

    ... mean on the side walk, or close to the street, but on the street.
    There was a safe 24 inch clearence between us and the passing
    vehicles, that could be anything from a truck, golf cart or quad.
    Dinner was phantastisco, OK, I'm starting to make up my own language
    now. After the main course Mom received a large slice of chocolate
    birthday cake that she shared with us. She also received a
    wonderful serenade of Las Mananitas ...
