    ... made more sense though. We didn't stay long. Instead, Menna and I walked to a different side of town where there was some live rock going on. The band was great, and I believe the whole thing was sponsored by Jack Daniels. Either that, or the owner really really really liked Jack. The band finished around midnight and so did we. It was for the best since we had another 6hr drive to Guadalajara tomorrow.

    ... changed clothes to go back out again for internet. The wifi place by the ship wasn't free and only took cash so I unhappily got $20 from the ATM and had to pay an $8 charge! Ridiculous. But I'm so happy I got to talk to friends and family online before getting back on the ship, and I guess I also have cash to buy a $10 calling card later.     ... We lugged ourselves and our packs up to the food court where we witnessed every do-rag and baby daddy Minneapolis had to offer, not for us at all. We scoffed down dinner and headed back to the airport for where we experienced the worst overnight stay in an airport yet.     It was just on dawn as I took the lift down to the ground floor to check out and I could see the big stone cross on the hill silhouetted against the pale yellow-orange sky through the glass walls. The cab picked me up from the hotel at 6.30 as arranged. The fare to the airport is a flat 250 pesos (docientos cincuenta) which I managed to confirm in my atrocious broken Spanish.
