... with enclosed ATM machines. Unbelievable!

It was 10 when our group jubilantly descended down to level 4, anxiously awaiting the forthcoming announcement confirming their early departure. As a more experienced "cruiser", I had already determined that there was no way we would be leaving early. But I had other problems now. I had left my room card and needed to return to our stateroom to retrieve it before I would be allowed to leave the ship. So I went up ...

          ... I know, I'm such a drama queen.)

I wandered down the main road and took a seat at Andales, a local favorite of my parents and their retired friends that lived down here. I placed myself strategically at a sidewalk table (awkwardly occupying only one seat at a table for six...) hoping to spot them if they were out and about. We found some and settled in for a couple drinks and relaxation. We were talking with some locals and found ourselves in a game of chess in the middle of a bar with very loud live music.... Only in Mexico, we played a couple games and then retired for the night. A day of riding in the ...

          Working in Paradise

... We got to brainstorm and think of all the things we could do to make the lives of our respective countries easier and to improve the way everything gets done. Who knows if anything will change, but in those 4 days we really managed to come up with a lot.

Being there for work, I didn't get to see the sights, but it was a great experience nevertheless. Puerto Vallarta was a much quieter place than expected - a lot more local tourism, which is nice to see.
