Second layer, finger sandwiches - 2* smoked salmon with mascarpone cheese (so they said) which overshadowed the small amount of salmon, and cucumber with cream cheese and dill. There were two small bright green wraps with lamb and harissa in the middle. None of them had a pop of flavour for me and the bread was wholemeal which I like but the other person didn't.

We wander along a trail to Lyrebird Dell and it climbs steeply up – we realise it’ll take us back out of the valley base, but we’re not sure where we’ll end up! The dell itself has no lyrebirds but has a nice waterfall and a beautiful picnic area inside a shaded open cave. We keep going up and end up at the road, and after a walk of half a kilometre ...

... incline to the valley floor, an elevated walk through the rainforest and a scenic skyway cable car floating out across the valley. The cost for the short rides is $35 per adult. We are staying at Palais Royale...a royal palace it is not but has charm and is very clean. It is so hot here today. Apparently Sydney people escape ...
