    ... I heard one boy say "I flipping hate year 5! We have to do cross country and Natplan (Australian Testing) Hilarious!!! Seriously, they were running on Bondi in 25 degrees! Ha ha Love it! Last time I supervised cross country it was a bitter southerly and I got a miserable cold!

We wander along a trail to Lyrebird Dell and it climbs steeply up – we realise it’ll take us back out of the valley base, but we’re not sure where we’ll end up!     Day 2 at Blue Mtns. We got up early and went to Leura for a breakfast of sorts. We wanted to be at the Scenic World by 9 am to experience the cable car, the railway cable down and the scenic skyway across the mountains. Apparently the skyway is as high as Harbour Bridge in Sydney. Besides the Three Sisters mountain range, the Orphan rock is amazing. Due to a landslide it was closed ...

    ... of little nik nak and holiday tat shops! I then jumped back on the bus to Echo Point which has fantastic views of the mountains, even through the mist you got some pretty good views! I must admit I didn't do any of the walks as it was very cold and a but drizzly the whole time so was a bit miserable! So instead I went for dinner and tea and cake! Hopefully tomorrow will bring with it better ...
