    ... everything run late. When it was supposed to be a 5am departure for the site, we actually weren't leaving until 5:45 or 6 o'clock, which is not supposed to be good for thresher sightings as it is normally to bright out by the time you get out to the site (which is a 20 minute boat ride away).     Friday morning was our first day working at the clinic. We ended up walking in on a delivery! We were invited to watch as the events unfolded. We came in to a small Filipino woman with only a shirt on laying on a flat metal table with her legs held up. There was a yellow tube like pad under her that was rinsed with sterile water periodically. She was barely making any noises and was under no anesthesia. She was a very strong woman.
