    ... the time together was really appreciated and enjoyable.

    Day two in Fort Cochin and it was time to visit the backwaters, firstly we had breakfast and got a very dodgy minibus to the backwaters. Our tour would involve going on a houseboat initially and being told of the wonderful culture and heritage that we were viewing. Whilst on the boat I also tasted some Chai (I guess this was tea) and my lord it was sweet, it was insane.

    ... travel, animals have been pervasively mistreated. It's a delight to see this family love and treasure all the different emanations of the natural world around them.

    ... What I would do differently: I would spend at least 3 days here, we only spent 2 and it felt short. Also, since there isn't much to do here except relax, I would suggest going with a big group of friend. It will definitely help the time pass!
