    ... next ten days would be like cuz I found it online in the Passport America site. The daily cost for full hookups was a measley $16.50 a night. Because of the low cost I was a little apprehensive. Not to worry, it is a beautiful place, right on the convergence of two rivers. Namely the Orange and the Caloosahatchee River (How's that for a mouthfull Muade ??).

    Today we decided to find some animals. We went to the Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary. Since it's been raining so much and so hard the humidity has gone up, we wore long clothes to protect ourselves against mosquitos. The first animal we saw was a woodpecker. We continued on and then saw a raccoon that was my personal highlight. He was so adorable and active. When we walked on we met a volunteer ranger who told us a lot and pointed out a few things to see. At one point we stayed a bit longer ...

    We have been back in Ohio a little more than 3 weeks and I am sitting on a bumpy plane bound for Los Angeles. I read through my Florida entries and felt I needed to comment on how it feels to be home, and what our trip looks like through the rear view mirror. A snow storm preceded us home. We were able to get up the driveway and into the house. Paul nursed the snowblower to life and I struggled to get Sammy to go outside to pee in the snow. Gee, I guess we came home ...
