Awesome Resort Snuggled in Pines and on the Banks of Lake Lanier

Who could go wrong with this finely appointed resort complete with pool, hot tub, pooslide bar and restaurant all along the banks of Lake Lanier. Get a wrist band and spend the day at the lakeside park riding all types of waterslides and flumes. Have a boat? Bring it too and pull right up to the hotel after leaving the park. What a great place to visit for the whole family.

Tomorrow, Bonnie will work her last class at summer school. At 4:30, our dear friend Adrienne will have picked me up and be waiting at the front door for the mad dash to the airport.

We had a great time taking Ellie to the local parks, though the heat made it hard to play out for too long . Good job we had a lovely pool to go home too!

We went 10 pin bowling, crazy golf, which Ellie was a little demon at! Great fun.

The Georgia Aquarium was most certainly worth a visit and would go back again and again.

Our days with them all was fabulous, seeing some of the local sights and Atlanta City too. ...

R.H. deserved more credit than he received over the years, and were it not for his contribution to the economic landscape of Buford, the effect of the Great Depression would have been much worse. ..."

... for one. I decided it's just me....and no one to impress by myself. I can handle basic digs if I get to explore and have fun doing things like a zip line (not cheap!) in Vancouver. We'll see how my el cheapo digs go. Oh, and that five-year old cousin. He's now the 22-year old I'm going to watch pitch for the Salem Kaiser Volcanoes (Giants baseball farm team). Seems like yesterday that I was playing wiffle ball in the backyard at his house back in '94. ...
