Awesome Resort Snuggled in Pines and on the Banks of Lake Lanier

Who could go wrong with this finely appointed resort complete with pool, hot tub, pooslide bar and restaurant all along the banks of Lake Lanier. Get a wrist band and spend the day at the lakeside park riding all types of waterslides and flumes. Have a boat? Bring it too and pull right up to the hotel after leaving the park. What a great place to visit for the whole family.

That entailed getting from VA to a suburb of Atlantic prior to nightfall. On paper, easily achievable. In reality....riddled with accidents. As it turns out, we weren't the only ones traveling on Good Friday. We did however make it to Suwanee, GA with daylight to spare! Just a few miles away Jen discovered was Georgia's largest mall, ...

... find anywhere that there was no shuttle. In fact, we discussed taking a vehicle but decided not to because we saw there were shuttles. This was a big disappointment because that meant we couldn't really get rooted into our campsite. Every time we wanted to go over to the festivities at the park, we had to unhook and drive the RV over there. That was a bummer.

When we did get over to the park, we had planned to ride ...

R.H. deserved more credit than he received over the years, and were it not for his contribution to the economic landscape of Buford, the effect of the Great Depression would have been much worse. ..."
