The day starts with a swim about 8am – breakfast is a selection of fruit smoothies, tropical fruit platter, muesli, eggs, waffles, toast tea etc, Water in the lagoon is lapping only metres away and a light breeze running. Bait fish scatter the lagoon surface as a big brother or baby stingray gun for a feed.

We left Sydney for Apia on Polynesian Blue at about 9PM. There was a huge line to check in and it was all very slow.

... The next day we did not exist as we crossed the international dateline between the two Samoa's. This somewhat confusingly meant that we skipped 24 hours and Tuesday was followed by Thursday!

Pretty good spot, friendly staff, quiet, accessible to airport, pool, no boom boom music, Short pool and lagoon is bit muddy bottom as expected.
