... and camera and sound folks preparing to shoot the scene. We weren't allowed to take any pictures and were instructed on which cabinets we could 'shop' in during the filming and to whisper. Then Rick, the owner of the shop came in and said hello. Then the patron came in with a chair to sell (supposed to be Abraham Lincoln's chair from the Whitehouse). After a rest at the hotel it seemed only fitting with the day’s Italian theme to head to the Palazzo (part of the Venetian hotel) for a pizza! On arrival the waitress showed us to our lovely round table in the middle of the restaurant and we all sat down...except Sue because there were only 5 settings placed!

... The Mirage was our drop off point and this is where we split up again. Team A went to the Mirage which was absolutely gorgeous, and we got our first walk-through of a Vegas casino. ... to invited me to a soft drink and some curly fries at Los Pollos Hermanos which were really good :) Just a few words on Albuquerque as a town as such: not really worth going. 1-2 days are fine but there is not much to do there. If you have a car you can explore the desert and a lot of rocks outside of the city. But that's basically it.

A much better option is to head westwards to Arizona. I caught the Greyhound bus services ...
