      Aaron will write this one-
We stayed here for Robyn's 24th birthday (old girl) and I must say I picked a very good holiday for the occasion!

With a excellent sized room which overlooked the huge swimming pool, massages by the pool and a private beach 2 minutes walk away we just relaxed there for the two days and strolled around the streets near the hotel.

Apart from the temperamental wifi, we had a great time in this hotel and didn't want to leave!

      Koh Lanta! No Lanta!

From reading the title you may think that we didn't like Koh Lanta, well quite the opposite really, we thoroughly enjoyed the quiet streets on this island and all of it's natural, non commercial charm that it offered! I guess it's how the 'real Thailand' used to be. The reason why the title is as it is, is because when we asked for anything, from …

It turns out that the 10th to the 10th is thirty one days, even when there's just thirty days in a month. I got in trouble trying exit Indonesia, not with the serious looking immigration officers, wearing frowns, and leg strapped Glocks - but with the missus. Contrary to what we'd read about incarceration for overstaying we just paid a $30 fine and were stamped out. No record made; a waste of money but no harm done, I keep telling her.

We stopped off for some snorkelling before heading to Maya Bay. The sea was very clear and there were lots of fish that could be seen.

When we arrived on the bay we had some time to explore the beach and go for a swim. We then had dinner which was followed by drinking games on the ...

... in a full blown conversation with an Indian mynah bird while I sat enjoying my iced coffee. We are really chilled. We rode slowly back to Soontreeya for a swim. I tuned into BBC and heard the captain of a Korean ferry boat apologizing for overturning. Hundreds are lost presumed drowned. I think back to our ferry crossings from Krabi, Ko Samui and Ko Pha Ngan - we didn't wear life jackets even though they were available. We looked forward ...

... often, sitting over my shoulder, cradled in my arms and at one point he tucked his wee head right under my chin... I was so close to taking him away with me. We have been deliberating so much on what to do. We have been planning on going to Koh Lipe tomorrow which is meant to be an amazing island 5 hrs south of Koh Lanta with Ellen and Hanna but it costs a bit to get to, we have heard its quite expensive and cannot find ...
