We stayed here for Robyn's 24th birthday (old girl) and I must say I picked a very good holiday for the occasion!
With a excellent sized room which overlooked the huge swimming pool, massages by the pool and a private beach 2 minutes walk away we just relaxed there for the two days and strolled around the streets near the hotel.
Apart from the temperamental wifi, we had a great time in this hotel and didn't want to leave!

From reading the title you may think that we didn't like Koh Lanta, well quite the opposite really, we thoroughly enjoyed the quiet streets on this island and all of it's natural, non commercial charm that it offered! I guess it's how the 'real Thailand' used to be. The reason why the title is as it is, is because when we asked for anything, from …
... br> The next morning we took two doggies, Rufus and Spot, from the local animal shelter for a walk. Niall had Spot who unfortunately was a bit frightened of the waves when we got down to the beach and as the tide was coming in we had to abandon that plan so decided to do the river walk instead only for Spot to sit down and refuse to go anywhere when we got a little bit passed the animal shelter! It was getting pretty hot at that stage anyway, ...
We spent an eventful week in Koh Phangan. Our accommodation here was the only thing we booked in advance in Thailand because we knew we wanted to go for the full moon party - a famous monthly party which is notorious for too many tourists getting far too drunk on the beach. So exciting. Because we booked it in advance we treated ourselves a little bit and stayed in a rather nice resort called Milky Bay. It was away from the main beach ...
... I was twisted and pulled and prodded in places I didn't know existed. I had my knee caps, elbows and every finger and toe cracked and pulled out! After trying to brave this 70year old Mai Thai Masusse sat on my neck for the first 20minutes eventually when she went to my feet and sat on my ankle I could not help but squeal! The torture carried on for over the 1hour we had expected and with her hands like sand paper it was ...
It feels like I have been here so much longer than just a week! I had whole mango for breakfast this morning again- its so easy to eat healthy here! We spent the rest of the day by the sea, had a wee walk and then went out for dinner... I ordered far too much and am now sitting in bed feeling very full and sleepy. We are planning on visiting the waterfalls tomorrow and we have a morning yoga class on the beach starting at 9. Missing you ...
