Travel Blogs from Ko Lanta
From reading the title you may think that we didn't like Koh Lanta, well quite the opposite really, we thoroughly enjoyed the quiet streets on this island and all of it's natural, non commercial charm that it offered! I guess it's how the 'real Thailand' used to be. The reason why the title is as it is, is because when we asked for anything, from …
... of being in Thailand at low season. We also decided it was about time we treated ourselves to a decent meal, as we needed to give the 7/11 toasties a break (those 60p squares of wonder had become a staple part of our diet)! The following day we thought we'd explore the island, but after seeing several mangled limbs we ruled out mopeds! Instead, we opted for a beautiful, lime green Nissan and, once the tunes were pumping, we were on our ...
Ahhhhhh! I had a bit here about where I am with Christine. I chose to take it out, preferring instead to share it with her alone, once our six month "letting go" period ends next month. We haven't talked for six months so I have to accept that she may not want to hear.
I miss it sure. I miss my people, absolutely! I feel the distance grow... perhaps past the snapping point. I realize some of the relationships I took for granted will not ...

Yes I almost hate us also!!
As the sun came down (we were treated to a beautiful sunset every night) we stopped off at our beachside restaurant for the most tasty king prawn thai green curry for me and tempura prawns for Beverly - DELICIOUS. And the most relaxing day so far!

We stayed here for Robyn's 24th birthday (old girl) and I must say I picked a very good holiday for the occasion!
With a excellent sized room which overlooked the huge swimming pool, massages by the pool and a private beach 2 minutes walk away we just relaxed there for the two days and strolled around the streets near the hotel.
Apart from the temperamental wifi, we had a great time in this hotel and didn't want to leave!
