    Robyn's Birthday Hotel

    Aaron will write this one-
We stayed here for Robyn's 24th birthday (old girl) and I must say I picked a very good holiday for the occasion!

With a excellent sized room which overlooked the huge swimming pool, massages by the pool and a private beach 2 minutes walk away we just relaxed there for the two days and strolled around the streets near the hotel.

Apart from the temperamental wifi, we had a great time in this hotel and didn't want to leave!

... and a bite to eat, to a place called 'Cook Kai'. We spent the rest of the day relaxing in the pool, or sea, depending on your preference (both were as warm as a bath) and watching the amazing sunset. Later that evening, we enjoyed dinner on the beach at a place called 'Miami'. 'Dive and Relax' was our first destination of the day. We hired two mopeds and off we went to long beach in search of the highly recommended dive shop. Ron and I both being open water qualified were able to book onto ...

... Paul had his iPhone and iPod so we each used one for the torch. Our guide had a head torch. We walked around the cave on what I'm sure was bat dung- it was quite disturbing!! There were a few small pools of water which were really cold! We came to a part of the cave that you had to climb up, the guide went first, then Paul but when I tried, I couldn't get up it- didn't have the reach or the upper body strength so I told them to go on without me but to ...

... of fish but nothing beyond what we had seen before so... The lunch stop was at a National Park with the white sandy beaches people dream of. There lots of people but since you have to come here as part of a tour it was understandable. Some lunch and snorkeling here were good and we just took in the color of the sand and water. We had one last dive stop which was fine. The best part was that Caleb decided to use no life jacket so he could free dive - note to all ...

... lady sat across from me. We had to squeeze as 2 more people had to fit and the Irish lady - Joan - made a joke that if the girl fell out we would holler and bang against the window so that the driver would stop. Well it turned out quite funny because Joan's purse fell out the pick-up onto the middle of the road and we hollered and banged at the window for the driver to stop and she ran back to grab her purse... It was quite entertaining!

... a lot of chilling by the pool and most nights we wandered over the rocky sea climb to Ton Sai to visit our friends at the Pirate bar. Railay is very chilled out at night, so if you want a few bars and a kooky atmosphere its best to head over to Ton Sai.
After these 10 wonderful days of nothing, we decided we would stay another 4 nights but we decided to spend these 4 days more being active, so first we headed up to the view point we had heard about. Turns out that the ...
