... made it to Ko Lanta after a 3 hour ferry trip, and arrived at non la mer hostel at Phrae-ae beach. It was pretty new and cheap, and I was in a mixed dorm there with the other two and we met a Perth and a Germany there as well. We spent a couple afternoons at the beach, where I completed rookie mistake number two and got sunburnt. "Long beach" was pretty, water was clear and a pretty turquoise Color.
